Our 1% Pledge update: What have we been doing to help communities?

Our 1% Pledge update for 2020 -2021

The fight against Covid-19 has been a terrible time for our global community, with frontline workers bearing the brunt of the battle. In our small way Koko & Karma have done what we could to help, by donating over fourteen thousand tetra packs of coconut water to frontline medical staff and workers across the globe.

During periods of lockdown in Melbourne and Sydney we donated 480 cases to medical workers, helping them rehydrate in double time when they did manage to grab a break. We also provided 720 cases of coconut water to New York and Miami frontline workers during a covid peak.

Additionally, Koko & Karma offered support to other small businesses weathering the storm; pausing payments during lockdowns, and allowing our stockists to replenish any unsold stock for new.

Like many small businesses we still do a little happy dance every time someone decides to pick our product for their shelves, and it is with our customer’s loyal support that we’re able to pass on our gratitude by giving back to others. As we all start to rebuild together while doing our bit to prevent the spread, we will be continuing to provide free marketing content and promotional support to our stockists as well as share their news to share their success stories, as well as create some of our own.
Koko & Karma is committed to the 1% Pledge - a global movement committing 1% of our profits and time to causes selected based on location and needs.
